Job Title: Experienced Instructor For Our Tech Academy

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking passionate and experienced teaching instructors for our premium tech learning Academy Adaptonia Training Skills School in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria.
• Pls here is a compulsory note:
• In addition to these role-specific requirements, all instructors should possess:
• Ikorodu residence- Living in Ikorodu is key to delivering a hybrid [offline & online] learning experience to our students
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for teaching and empowering students.
• Curriculum Development: All instructors must know how to develop a curriculum. Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments, to ensure they align with current industry trends and best practices in UX design. Incorporate real-world examples and case studies to enhance learning outcomes.

Key Qualifications and Qualities
Digital Marketing Instructor;

• Strong portfolio showcasing experience in digital marketing projects
• Conduct interactive and engaging digital marketing classes, workshops, and training sessions
• Strong expertise in various digital marketing disciplines (SEO, SEM, social media marketing, etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Passion for teaching and the ability to convey complex concepts effectively
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure relevance and alignment with industry trends
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students, offering feedback on projects and assignments
• Assess student understanding and progress through exams, quizzes, and assignments
• Prior teaching or training experience is preferred

Programming Instructor:

• Technical expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in programming languages relevant to the school’s curriculum, such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, or Ruby.
• Software development experience: Prior professional experience in software development, showcasing ability to create functional applications and solve real-world problems.
• Teaching skills: Effective communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to break down complex programming concepts into understandable and accessible lessons for students.
• Pedagogical approach: Familiarity with different teaching methodologies and approaches, including hands-on projects, collaborative learning, and interactive coding exercises.
• Continuous learning: A passion for staying updated with the latest programming languages, frameworks, and tools to ensure students receive relevant and up-to-date knowledge.

UX Design Instructor:

• Professional UX design experience: Demonstrated expertise in user experience design, including wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and user research.
• Design portfolio: We are looking for candidates with a strong portfolio showcasing design process, problem-solving skills, and the ability to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Industry knowledge: Awareness of current UX design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in fields such as web design, mobile app development, or human-computer interaction.
• UX tools proficiency: Proficiency in industry-standard UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or Axure.
• Collaboration skills: Ability to foster a collaborative and interactive learning environment, encouraging students to work on group projects, conduct design critiques, and provide constructive feedback.

Content Creation Instructor:

• Strong portfolio: We are looking for candidates with a diverse and impressive portfolio showcasing their expertise in various content creation mediums such as writing, graphic design, video production, or multimedia.
• Industry experience: Prior experience working in content creation roles, preferably in relevant industries such as digital marketing, media production, or advertising.
• Teaching experience: Prior experience as a content creation instructor or mentor, demonstrating ability to effectively convey concepts and guide students in developing their skills.
• Knowledge of tools and software: Proficiency in industry-standard content creation tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, or content management systems (CMS).
• Adaptability: Content creation is a rapidly evolving field, so being an instructor you should demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends.

Compensation style:

• Payment is based on a Revenue Sharing Contract where instructors receive an agreed percentage of the fees collected from enrolled students (after admin costs have been deducted).
• Teaching appearance is only when students have enrolled.
