Job Title: Digital Product Sales Manager

Location: Ogba, Ikeja – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

  • As a Digital Product Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive the sales and revenue growth of digital products or services.
  • You will develop and execute sales strategies, build and maintain relationships with clients, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet sales targets and drive customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote and sell digital products or services.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
  • Define sales objectives, set sales targets, and develop action plans to achieve or exceed sales goals.

Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and target potential customers for digital products or services through various channels, including online platforms, lead generation, and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to close sales deals and secure long-term customer relationships.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback and insights from customer interactions to contribute to product development and marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and sales collateral to support sales efforts.

Sales Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track sales performance, analyze key metrics, and generate regular reports on sales activities, progress, and revenue forecasts.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the market and provide recommendations for sales strategy adjustments.
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to manage leads, track customer interactions, and maintain accurate sales records.

Market and Competitive Analysis:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities in the digital products or services space.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify unique selling points and positioning strategies.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to the management team to drive innovation and improve competitiveness.

Sales Training and Development:

  • Provide sales training, mentoring, and support to the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively sell digital products or services.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry best practices and sales techniques, sharing insights and training opportunities with the team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Must have 3-5 years experience
  • Proven experience in digital product sales, preferably in the software, technology, or digital services industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital products, online platforms, and the sales process for digital offerings.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of digital products or services to clients.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 / Month.
