Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Commonwealth Scholarships at the University of Guelph, Canada 2022-23

  • Students studying or conducting research in the fields of agriculture and rural development who are full-time visiting exchange students registered for at least one semester from a Commonwealth developing nation.
  • Selection will be based on evaluations of the following factors: (a) a one-page submission outlining the significance of the program of study at the partner exchange university for the student visiting Guelph; (b) two faculty references that can each not exceed one page in length; and (c) a history of consistently high performance in completed coursework as shown by a transcript of program grades to date.
